    We have recieved a special invite for members of Paddle Pushers!

    Apostle Islands National Lakeshore

    This is an amazing training and skills development opportunity, hosted by a Twin Cities based kayak club.   If you are interested, membership with ISK (Inland Sea Kayakers) may be required.  


    3 days of  BC (formerly known as BCU) 3 Star and 3 Star+ skills development, 
    Featuring BC Level 5 Coach (and all around good guy): John Carmody.
    • Build your skills with a world class coach, a world class classroom and world class curriculum
    • This class is designed for personal and focused attention
    • Continue to build upon your existing skills
    • Come away with solid skills and an action plan for growth
    The British Canoe Union, and the American Canoe Association are two organizations that are key to development of Sea Kayaking skills development and safety procedures in the US and abroad.  They both offer certification and curriculums to advance and award your skills as a paddler, train and certify you as an instructor or coach, and the ACA is heavily involved with stewardship and protection of our US waterways and landings.
    You are Not required to posess any BC awards-
    However, you should possess basic strokes and rescues skills before considering attending. You will also need proper gear, including some safety and rescue equipment.  Please contact Renee if you need help with requirements and evaluating your ability to participate. She will also forward your request to participate to the organizers.
